About the Author: Cassandra Hamilton, a florist and writer, shares a deep love for plants and has been consistently inspired by the Australian bush throughout her diverse career. With experience in conservation, landscaping, floristry, design, and media, she is a strong advocate for sustainable and locally-sourced flowers. Her personal favourite is the flannel flower. In 2019, Michael Pavlou established Bush Flowers in Carlton North, drawing on his 20+ years in the flower industry and his farm in northern Victoria where he grows and sells beautiful banksias. His top pick is the Australian firewheel tree, Stenocarpus sinuatus.
