Returns Policy
For Change of Mind Purchases:
If you have a change of mind, we are more than happy to provide a refund or exchange, given the return meets the conditions below:
- Item(s) are returned within 14 days of purchase (if ordered online, from the date received on your tracking).
- Item(s) are in their original & unused condition with all labels or tags attached (if applicable), and in original packaging.
Returns due to change of mind are at the customer's expense. Alternatively, you can bring the order back to our Kersbrook, SA store.
If you have a change of mind, please email us at hello@speckledhenstore.com.au to receive authorisation of your return.
We take great care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. However, if you need to return an item due to a change of heart, we kindly ask that you follow the same level of care while packaging the item to be returned. If the product is returned to us damaged, we reserve the right to decline a refund, exchange, or store credit.
We kindly ask that you use Australia Post tracked parcel post for any returns to our address. If you are based internationally outside of Australia, please use a secure logistics partner to return your item. Please note that we cannot be held accountable for lost items during transit or any shipping costs that may arise as a result of additional packaging necessary to send your order back to us.
For Faulty Items:
We are deeply sorry if you have received a faulty item. If you find yourself in this situation, please email us at hello@speckledhenstore.com.au with your order number, a detailed description of the fault, and photos of the defective item(s).
Once received, our team will evaluate the situation and may ask you to send us the item(s) for further inspection. We will then contact you as soon as the assessment is complete to discuss next steps, including any reimbursement (if applicable).
Exchanges:
If you'd like to exchange your order, we would recommend placing a separate order for the item you would like to exchange for once your return has been authorised.
Important Things To Note:
- We are unable to cancel any orders once they have been processed in our system.
- For hygiene reasons, earrings and hair accessories, including scrunchies, claw clips, hair ties and hair pins cannot be returned.
- Sale items cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.
